At the Annual Meeting of the History of Science Society held in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Matt presented a paper entitled, “The Germ in the Chalice: A Case When Science Met the Sacred,” within the panel, “The Christian Confrontation with Science,” chaired by John Lynch of Arizona State University on Friday, November 7, 2008.
